Knowsley Park Centre for Learning, serving Prescot, Whiston and the wider community is a secondary education Centre for Learning based in Prescot in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, in Merseyside, England. It also holds the surprising record of having the longest school name in the UK.[1]
The school was established in 2009, as a result of a merger between Prescot School and Higher Side Community Comprehensive School [2]. The School was funded by the Building Schools for the Future, which was established by the previous Labour government. It was the last of the 7 new centres for learning to be built in Knowsley, costing £15million.
